About Us

Scottsdale United Lacrosse is designed for Scottsdale students to compete in the Arizona Youth Lacrosse league. Our 10U, 12U, and 14U teams are consistently in the top echelon of teams competing in the league, year after year. These teams must be made up of students that live in or go to a school within the Scottsdale Unified School district footprint. This includes any private or Charter school within the boundaries of SUSD. Our In-State travel teams will play on Saturdays from January through March, competing around the Valley including Tucson.

If you are NEW to lacrosse or live outside the SUSD boundaries, we encourage you to visit our sister program, Arizona United. Arizona United runs 3 leagues per year in the Summer, Fall, and Winter. These are local leagues with no boundary restrictions. Each session provides training and game play for 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U players. In addition, each age group is divided into competitive and developmental teams to make sure we are challenging each athlete based on where there skills are at that time. Meet our Board


Chris Malone – Director Of Operations

Chris Malone has been coaching for over two decades and has brought that wealth of experience to United to help develop and expand the coaching staff at United. 2x All American from Maryland and played in the MLL. Coached at all levels from club to D1.


Steven DeBiase – President

A pivotal member in running all the operations of United, Steve is the heart and sole of Scottsdale United. You can find him running around with various equipment, coaching, spectating or watching his son Lane play.


Jon Little – Director of Marketing

A former player and captain under Chris Malone, Jon Little has been brought on to help increase marketing presence at United as well as coaching a variety of age groups.


Josh Longbottom – Executive Member

Josh brings years of coaching, a passion for the developing lacrosse players at all ages! Josh helps bring years of coaching at United to the Board for points of emphasis where the program has succeeded and failed over the years.
